Viva Las Vegas - Elvis Presley & Ann-Margrett - 1964 - 86 Minutes - Elvis Presley is Lucky Jackson, an aspiring auto racer with a dream of winning the Grand Prix. Sexy, spunky Ann-Margret is Rusty Martin, the swimming instructor who falls for him against her will, hating the idea of her man risking his life in a race car. Lucky struggles to raise the money to buy a new engine while Rusty tries to convince him to give up racing for her.

Diner - 1982 - 2 Hours 25 Minutes - Barry Levinson's (TIN MEN, AVALON) directorial debut chronicles the relationships between a group of friends living in Baltimore in 1959. The uniting factor for this group is their fear of growing up. They spend hour after hour in the local greasy-spoon diner, joking, boasting, bragging, and ultimately escaping reality. Ladies' man Boogie (Mickey Rourke), a hairdresser by day and law student by night, is also in over his head with the local bookie. Momma's boy Eddie (Steve Guttenberg) is about to get married--but only if his fiancee passes a football trivia test. Shrevie (Daniel Stern) is married to Beth (Ellen Barkin) but is more comfortable hanging out with his friends and organizing his record collection. Graduate student Billy (Timothy Daly) is trying to sort out his own love life. And Fenwick (Kevin Bacon) is a poor little rich boy with a warped sense of humor and no direction. Paul Reiser rounds out the group as the nagging but funny Modell.

Good-bye Again - 1961 - 2 Hours - A sophisticated romance set in Paris, director Anatole Litvak's GOOD-BYE AGAIN addresses notions of women, their sexuality, and age differences in relationships. The film stars Ingrid Bergman as Paula, a luminous forty something interior decorator whose despair over her wealthy lover Roger's (Yves Montand) unfaithful ways drives her into the arms of a client's son, the 24-year-old Philip (Anthony Perkins). The quandary over her relationship with Roger turns into a battle against her own, and society's, conflicting view about the vast age difference between Philip and her. Philip, however, is completely taken with Paula and is insistent that their differences will be overcome by love. Before she knows it, her life has grown more complicated than ever. Bergman is wonderful in the intricate central role of Paula.

Herbie the Love Bug - THE ORIGINAL ONLY! - 1969 - down-and-out racetrack driver, Jim Douglas, acquires a little Volkswagen, but doesn't realize that the "bug" is almost human. The car helps Jim to win many races but runs away, when it feels it is not appreciated, into the clutches of villainous rival Peter Thorndyke. With the help of his friends Tennessee and Carole, Jim changes his attitude, finds the "bug," and apologizes. They win another race -- and then Jim falls in love with Carole.
Murderer's Row - 1966 - 1 Hour 48 Minutes - In this action-packed sequel to "The Silencers," secret agent Matt Helm must save Washington, DC from a madman bent on melting the city with a deadly laser beam. At the same time, he tries to rescue a beautiful woman's scientist father, who's been kidnapped by the same villain. As in all the other entries in the Matt Helm series, there's a load of sight gags mixed in with the action. And Matt, of course, also finds time to cavort with numerous attractive women.

The Clones - 1973 - 90 Minutes - A doctor is shocked to discover the government is replacing him with a clone.

Three Men and a Baby - 1988 - 1 Hour 42 Minutes - The bad guys' getaway car! A remake of the hit French comedy "Trois Hommes et un Couffin" ("Three Men and a Cradle") about a trio of confirmed bachelors who unexpectedly discover the joys of fatherhood when a baby is left on their doorstep. The three men -- an actor, an architect and a cartoonist -- share a swanky pad where they entertain a steady succession of one-night stands. This all changes when a woman appears at their apartment one day with the actor's illegitimate infant. Dad happens to be out of town at the time, so it's up to his two woefully inexperienced roommates to deal with the baby that has been abandoned to their care.

TR7

Resurrection - 1980 - 1 Hour 42 Minutes - The "star" TR7 goes over a cliff and kills the driver. However, the passenger gets "super" healing powers! - Directed by Daniel Petrie, Ellen Burstyn, Sam Shepard. 1980, 120 minutes.

Look What's Happened to Rosemary's Baby - 1976 - 1 Hour 40 Minutes - Features a demonically possessed black Triumph TR7 (fairly extensive footage!). At one point the car goes out of control and rolls over (must have taken a lot to roll a TR7!) ending up back on its wheels where you can hardly see any damage to the vehicle. It is probably an accurate depiction of a roll over as the TR7 was built to pass a proposed roll-over test in the US that never came to be.
Not the best movie (especially when you compare it to the original Rosemary's Baby, which is a classic!), but great Triumph content!

Harald

Thunderball - In Nassaw BWI. Harald convertible White driven by bad guy.

Diamonds are Forever - 1971 - 2 Hours - Superspy James Bond (Sean Connery) gets tangled up in the wild world of international diamond smuggling. But hold on--the mission is not quite so simple as it seems; his chase of the jewel thieves leads him to conspirators with plans for unleashing a nuclear armageddon on an unsuspecting planet.

Straw Dogs - 1971 - Starring Dustin Hoffman and Susan George. A white Stag is featured throughout the movie. A modern remake is coming out soon, but does not feature the Stag.
