Stockholm Pie Run

From 2020, a short drive along the Minnesota river to the Stockholm Pie Company and other little shops there. Meet at the small Crosby Farm Park parking lot in St. Paul, Shepard Road and Elway St. About 128 miles round trip.

Directions:

• From Crosby Farm Park, turn right to go northeast on Shepard Road.
• Follow Shepherd Road for 6.5 miles (it becomes Warner Road for the last 2 miles)
• Turn right on to Hwy 10 south
• Continue on Hwy 10 for 19 miles. Don’t miss the left turn to stay on 10 toward Prescott (do not go to Hastings)
  Follow 10 across the river bridge into Prescott. We can make a stop here if anyone needs gas before heading south.
• Turn right on to WI Hwy 35 south
• Continue on Hwy 35 for 38 miles to Stockholm. The pie shop is on the left, there is parking along the highway and Spring Street.

After pie, we can decide as a group if we want to retrace our steps back up 35, or swing through Wabasha and back north on 61 for a full loop around Lake Pepin. Or folks can do their own thing for the afternoon; there are wineries in the area, a good creamery/wine store further south in Nelson, and a few beer joint options.
